A Mindful Bachelorette Weekend in Fort Worth

I recently was able to have a *very belated* bachelorette weekend with the ladies who have been there for me through all of life’s ups and downs.

My priorities for the weekend were quality time, meaningful connection, fun, and low cost.

When planning the weekend all I could find online was party tips, drinking, and other activities that weren’t very interesting to me. I hope others can use this article as a source of fun bachelorette party ideas that include mindful, low-cost alternatives. Keep scrolling for a recap of our amazing girls’ weekend including bachelorette yoga, connection, and lots of laughs.

The agenda:

Friday afternoon

Ladies arrived at my house. I had enough mattresses and air mattresses for us all to sleep comfortably (we were a little crowded in the rooms, but it was worth it for the low *no* cost).

Dinner party at home with Central Market lasagna and salad.

Getting premade dinner from Central Market was so much easier than cooking at home and way cheaper than eating out. I looked into having a chef come cook for us, but it was too pricey (a great option and unique experience if you have a bigger budget, though).

Listened to records and played getting to know each other games. I’d highly recommend buying a pack of these Holstee Reflection Cards, They keep deep conversation going all night, day, or in the middle of a river trip with unsuspecting friends (a story for another time).

Décor was all done by the incredible Steph DIY Projects who happens to also be my best friend. It made the house feel so special and unique.

Themed cookies by Sweetly Graced Cookies and groom-face bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes added to the festive vibes and satisfied our sugar cravings.

Saturday Morning

Bachelorette yoga in the backyard taught by Bee9 Living followed by a sound bath played by Kenny Kolter.

You can book private yoga sessions with Bee9 to come to your space or they can host in their Fort Worth location.

After a peaceful start to the morning we headed to the Race Street Rollick where there was live music and local artisans. A sweet artist – Shop By Meg – even gifted me a free pair of earrings that I ended up wearing at my wedding celebration!

My mom lives at Presidio Apartments on Race Street so we were able to have lunch at her place and use her pool with a gorgeous view of the city.

Saturday Night

All you can eat pizza at DeLucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine. I cannot express how fun this experience was. It’s only $23 each and they bring around an endless assortment of options, including dessert pizza! We all loved it.

After dinner we came back to the house and played bachelorette party games. This was one of the best parts of the weekend and I can’t think my bestie enough for organizing the games and decorating the “slumber party” space.

Sunday morning

Breakfast at Biscuit Bar in the stockyards followed by live music in the Hotel Drover backyard. You have to check out this area of the stockyards if you want to experience true cowboy chic.

I can’t thank these ladies enough for such a perfect weekend in Fort Worth, TX – the city I call home. It was full of intention, love, quality time, and celebration.

I hope you have a similar experience surrounded by your best gals.

Sending lots of love.
